Contract generation

  • The larger and more complex the organisation, the more likely there will be big differences in your employment contracts. Our work will free your Human Resources department from significant administrative burden, establish robust contract procedures, and speed up the offer and acceptance process.

Reference checking

  • Most companies need references that cover a number of previous employers and character witnesses, or a period of time in employment. Carlisle takes care of this for you, making sure your reference requests are consistent and allowing your Human Resources department to focus on other tasks. Depending on the role and the required level of compliance, we can also obtain references from external bodies such as the Financial Services Authority and Criminal Records Bureau.

Keep In Touch programmes

  • After offering a role to a candidate, our work doesn't stop there. We're here to make sure they're as excited when they join as they were when they first got the job. We also appreciate that many new employees are eager to learn so to give them every opportunity to ask questions, our programmes run from the time we verbally offer a role to the day a candidate becomes an employee. We also tailor our programmes to each role. For example, our programmes cover positions within customer service, management and executive levels, and graduates who may start work six months after receiving offers. While the hiring manager will contact the candidate regularly throughout the notice period, our programmes also deploy various strategies including sending:
  • 'Countdown' postcards every other week
  • 'Welcome packs' in one go, or over time depending on the notice period, outlining important facts about your organisation
  • Initial job based training information
  • Quarterly newsletters and updates
  • Pictures of the team the candidate is joining and invites to events, such as Christmas parties

Equipment ordering

  • For a new candidate, little is worse than arriving on the first day to find they don't have the equipment they need to do their job. Thanks to our robust technology platform, our team will manage the complex and time-consuming tasks of ordering vital equipment – such as a laptop, PC, stationery, telephones and company car  and arranging system log-in details and email.

Credit checks

  • Carlisle is experienced in providing credit-based reports for organisations that must comply with regulatory bodies, such as the Financial Services Authority (FSA). We can also gather credit information from organisations such as Equifax and Experian, and perform compliance and regulatory checks involving areas including County Court Judgements (CCJs), UK Consumer Credit Report, UK Electoral Roll, International Credit Report, Directorship Search, Identity Verification, DVLA Check, Education Verification, Professional Qualifications and Memberships, UK Criminal Record Checks and Right to Work Checking.

Induction programmes

  • Carlisle will manage every aspect of your induction programmes for you. While we create programmes that match your roles, each induction may focus on many areas, such as health and safety awareness, on-the-job briefings, company overviews, policies and procedures, site tours, and first meetings with line managers.
