The Educators Awards ceremony celebrates the work and commitment of The Hackney Learning Trust’s teachers, support staff, governors, headteachers, business partners and childcare workers.
The event was hosted by BBC London News presenter Brenda Emmanus, with schools minister Iain Wright and former chair of The Learning Trust Sir Mike Tomlinson among those invited to hand out the awards.
Cheryl Gibson, Account Manager from Carlisle Managed Solutions presented The Learning Trust Individual of the Year Award to Lizzie Yauner.
Lorraine Butler, Operations Director, Carlisle Managed Solutions said:
“I have been working in partnership with The Learning Trust since June 2006 and both my team and I are immensely proud to be part of the positive improvements that the Trust has delivered to Hackney schools and educational establishments over this period. These awards are a fantastic way of celebrating the people who have made this happen”.
