Competency frameworks

  • Our competency frameworks accurately define the requirements of the role and help Carlisle and your organisation assess candidates' suitability by examining their skills, experience and behaviours. Not only do the frameworks consider candidates in many areas, such as functional or technical job requirements and personal characteristics. They also take your immediate and long term needs, culture and values into account, helping you build a broad, diverse and complimentary workforce.

Bespoke testing

  • To ensure the right candidate is selected, we develop a testing process for each role. Working with you, we will manage some or all of the process and adapt it to the various roles in your organisation. Bespoke testing can include functional or ‘on-the-job’ testing, numerical or verbal reasoning, psychometric testing, and competency and behavioural-based interviewing.

Interviews and technique

  • Carlisle can organise and run interviewing sessions on your behalf. Your resourcing requirements and roles will determine our interviewing technique, which may involve combining competency, behavioural and strength based candidate interviewing technique.

Assessment centres

  • For large-volume recruitment and senior management positions, we deploy assessment centres to test your candidates over a longer timeframe than traditional methods, such as interviewing. Carlisle will work with you to develop an assessment centre that measures candidates on their required skills, experience, behaviours and cultural fit. The assessment centre may conduct a bespoke set of activities including role playing, individual exercises based on job roles, group assignments, behavioural based-tasks and presentation skills.
